Our process

Research first. Then three directions. You choose.

Five stages, in the same order every time. Nothing is hidden and nothing is a surprise.

The five stages

  1. Research

We study your market, your competitors and your customers before we draw anything. We also run a name health check: we look for conflicts in public trademark records, check whether the domain and social handles are free, and say the name out loud to see how it sounds.

    You get

A short research summary in plain language.

    You decide

Your goals, your customers and what you sell.

  2. Strategy

We turn the research into a position: who you're for, what you stand for, and why someone should choose you. Essentials includes a lighter version of this step.

    You get

Your positioning and brand idea, in writing.

    You decide

Whether the position sounds like you.

  3. Directions

You'll see three directions in week one. Each is a complete point of view: mark, color, type and a short business case. You pick one. We don't pick for you.

    You get

Three distinct directions, each with its business case.

    You decide

    Which one to develop.

  4. Design

We build the direction you chose into a full system: logo suite, palette, type, templates and the rest of your package. Two revision rounds are included.

    You get

Your identity system, taking shape in the open.

    You decide

Feedback across two rounds of revisions.

  5. Delivery

Organized files, guidelines and your rights. If your package includes print, supplier-checked dielines and proofs come before anything goes to press. Full rights are assigned to you.

    You get

Final files, guidelines and print-ready artwork.

    You decide

    Where and when to launch.

A human hand on every mark.

We use AI tools for research and early exploration. A person directs and refines every AI-assisted visual before you see it, and the marks we deliver are screened against public trademark records. A screen isn't legal clearance, so for a filing, talk to a trademark attorney.
